The Implementation Plan below is a part of a innovative plan to change the environment of the elementary library I currently manage by incorporating makerspaces. Phase 1: Planning & Creating The Makerspace (Spring 2019)
Step 1: Survey Interests & Consult District Goals
Start informal communication with students, staff, campus administration, parents, and community members.
Create survey for students, staff, campus administration, parents, and community members.
Meet with campus administration regarding district and campus goals as well as campus improvement plan.
STEP 2: RESEARCH STATE, NATIONAL, & GLOBAL MAKERSPACE TRENDS
Research academic journals regarding makerspaces in public schools.
